From 9am to 5pm

Generally, in the majority of classes there are 20 to 24 students. In Infants, IB and in optional subjects the numbers are reduced.

Our teachers are of different nationalities, with a native or almost native level of English. This cultural and linguistic diversity promotes an international and intercultural mentality in our students.

Around 40% of our students are international, and this percentage is higher in Infants and Primary. In total we have more than 30 different nationalities.

We offer a mutilingual educational project, with 3 teaching languages, English, Spanish and Catalan. All our students learn the 3 languages with the aim of achieving fluency both at a professional and personal level by the time they finish school. They also have the opportunity to learn a 4th language from a choice of French, German or extracurricular Chinese.

No matter where they are from, adaptation for international students is made easier by the possibility of immersion in the teaching languages (English, Spanish and Catalan) at native or beginner level and we also offer an International Homeroom.

Students who finish their education at Agora Barcelona International School can enter universities around the world like The University of Manchester, Bristol University, Durham University, Lancaster University, Anderson University, or UB, UAB, UPC, UPF and  UIC in Cataluña.

Students, teachers and families welcome new students with open arms. The different department coordinators make sure that there are 'student helpers'to assist the newcomers right from the start.

The first step in the admissions process is to submit an application form which can be obtained from our website or by contacting the Admissions Department. Admissions procedures vary slightly depending on the age of the candidate (please refer to the Admissions section).
