National Baccalaureate

At the end of Secondary School, our students may choose to study either the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) or the National Baccalaureate.Whichever path they follow, we prepare them to successfully take on the next stage of their education. Both options allow students to continue their studies in Spain or abroad.

Ensuring success

Agora Barcelona International School offers three National Baccalaureate (LOMLOE) pathways: Scientific, Technological and Social Sciences. The subjects included in each pathway have been selected to provide access to the widest range of university degrees, both in Catalonia and across Spain.

We prepare our Baccalaureate students with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, helping them achieve their goals and access higher education with the best possible guarantees. We promote hands‑on laboratory work and participation in recognised projects and competitions in both the sciences and the humanities, encouraging research skills and an innovative mindset.

We bring students closer to university life through information sessions and open days organised by different universities. In addition, our Psychopedagogical Guidance Department supports students in identifying the most suitable academic path based on their abilities and interests, through assessments, activities and personalised guidance.

A key objective is to prepare students thoroughly for the PAU university entrance exams, including a three‑week intensive preparation period before the Selectividad exams.

Our aim is to ensure that students can access the higher‑education studies they aspire to, guiding them towards the most suitable options and the universities that best match their goals. We believe it is essential to offer them the widest range of opportunities and resources so they can succeed both personally and professionally. The Baccalaureate programme prepares them to become whatever they choose, with the confidence of being fully ready for it.
