The facilities at the Agora Barcelona International School are enhanced by our location; the school is situated in a beautiful rural setting and the facilities are designed to meet all the requirements of each stage of an all-round education.
We have a set of facilities adapted to the needs of each stage of the educational project, with special attention to music, arts and sport, which are key to the integral education of the pupils. The centre has classrooms, libraries, laboratories and a complete "Sports Centre" with facilities for all kinds of sports, such as two artificial grass football pitches, basketball, handball, tennis and paddle courts and a semi-Olympic swimming pool.
With the aim of providing a comprehensive international education: trilingual, mixed, respectful and open to dialogue, we offer linguistic immersion with a wide range of foreign languages and the possibility of studying the International Baccalaureate programme or a double degree in Vocational Training with official certification in English.
Agora Barcelona International School’s Sport Centre covers an area of 40,000 m² and incorporates all the facilities necessary to play a wide range of sports. These facilities include basketball, handball, tennis and padel courts, AstroTurf football pitches (7-a-side and 11-a-side), an indoor pool, covered sports hall, cross country and mountain biking tracks, etc. The sports centre also has an office where parents can find out information or discuss any concerns, and a cafeteria.
The facilities are located in a delightful rural setting surrounded by the Barcelona Golf Club’s golf course, with a backdrop provided by the Montserrat mountains. The benefits of playing sport are enhanced by the glorious countryside surrounding our sports centre. When attending preseason competitions for our football, basketball, handball and volleyball teams, accommodation can be booked at three hotels located a short distance away.
Pupils studying for the intermediate and advanced levels of the Sport and Leisure vocational training programme use the Sport Centre’s facilities. These courses are oriented towards career opportunities relating to physical/sporting activities, adventure activities, football training, life-saving or organising sporting activities.
